We have used solid silver ribbed habaki and a buffalo horn throat to the saya to assist a firm hold when the blade is in the scabbard. Complimented the saya with a solid silver kurikata. The saya are available in Japanese Urushi lacquer Black or Dark Brown, we now have added Dark Green, Dark Blue, Maroon and White.
