Very well carved in excellent condition 18th Century.Blade: 27.5" Nagasa in good condition with no forging flaws, has scratches and slight staining here and there and would benefit from a polish but all features (Grain, Hamon) are clearly visible. All the Shinogi Mune Yokote Lines a crisp and well defined.Habaki: A 2 piece Brass Habaki Shouldered in Solid Silver.Comments: A strong healthy early Shinshinto Katana in good quality Koshirae well suited for cutting practice or Iaido in its present state.
